Maintaining and Restoring Oregon lawns since 2009

Core Aeration

Aeration is a process of removing plugs or "cores" from a lawn to create passageways in the soil. These passages transport oxygen, water and nutrients and support the lawn's ecosystem.

Research done by Oregon State University Extension Service shows that "simply by aerating your lawn you can use 20-30% less water." Aeration can improve the efficacy of other lawn maintenance products like fertilizer and grass seed.

Customers who want to make a big impact can choose to have organic fertilizer and grass seed spread after aeration. A free pH test is done when 2 or more services are chosen.
